CPR for K-12 Students
Service Description
The CPR for K-12 Students course, taught by American Heart Association-certified instructors, is designed to teach students from elementary through high school the essential skills needed to respond to cardiac emergencies. This engaging, hands-on course empowers young people with the knowledge and confidence to perform CPR and use an automated external defibrillator (AED) in life-threatening situations. Instructors guide students through age-appropriate lessons, covering high-quality chest compressions, rescue breathing, and how to assist someone who is choking. The course also introduces AED use in a way that is easy for students to understand and apply. Through interactive demonstrations and practice scenarios, students learn how to act quickly and effectively in emergencies, making a real difference in saving lives. Ideal for students in school health programs, sports teams, or any group seeking to gain basic life-saving skills, the course is designed to be both informative and fun. At the end of the training, participants receive an American Heart Association certification card, valid for two years, ensuring they are prepared to respond confidently in critical situations. This course helps create a safer community by equipping young people with the tools they need to act as first responders in emergencies.
